Trump's border czar announced ICE is 'deportation maxxing' with record-breaking arrest numbers.
Homan's enforcement-centric approach wins praise from some centrists who want public safety, but others worry about overreach and lack of proportionality.
Lean Left
Border czar Tom Homan defended conditions at Delaney Hall ICE detention facility in New Jersey, denying reports of inhumane treatment after a personal visit last weekend.
Lean left readers view Homan's denial as gaslighting, given documented reports from detainees and advocacy groups, and the Senate vote-a-rama pushing more ICE funding through on the same day amplifies concerns about expanding a detention system with inadequate oversight.
