Starmer pushed back against Vance's interference claim, describing the US intervention over Nowak as an attempt to meddle in British democracy.
While the radical left welcomes Starmer's pushback on US interference, his government's own hostile environment legacy and failure to structurally challenge the conditions that generate far-right scapegoating remain serious points of criticism from Green and left perspectives.

Starmer publicly backed a Labour MP suing Elon Musk's xAI over Grok-generated deepfake images of her in a bikini.
Lib Dems broadly support the lawsuit but will note Labour has been slow to legislate on AI harms, and Starmer's backing is reactive rather than the product of proactive regulatory policy.
