Hashim Thaçi is a Kosovan politician and a convicted war criminal. He was the first prime minister of Kosovo (2008–2014) and the Foreign minister and deputy prime minister (2014–2016) in the cabinet led by Isa Mustafa. He served as President of Kosovo from 2016 until his resignation in 2020.
