Chris Krebs

Chris Krebs served as the first director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from 2018 to 2020. In that role, he led federal efforts to protect the nation's critical infrastructure from cyber threats and oversaw the security of the 2020 U.S. election, including coordinating with state and local officials. Krebs was later fired by President Trump after publicly refuting claims of widespread election fraud.

Far Left
Krebs, a CBS News contributor and former Trump-era CISA director, co-led the CBS interview flagging AI bioweapons risk under current deregulatory conditions.
The far left treats figures like Krebs with structural skepticism, viewing ex-national security officials turned media commentators as representative of the security state's revolving door rather than as genuine public interest advocates.
